A new international youth summit on the UN Millennium Development Goals – the Global Youth Cultural Summit (GYCS) – is set to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, from August 9-13th. Up to 400 young people will be selected via a short video/essay competition based on the theme of “Youth! It’s time to think, act and share your aspirations for the MDGs!”
